How can I easily know if a user checked in within the Geo Fence? Understanding Geo-Fence Status Icon

To enhance monitoring of the Geo-Fence for time entries within Timecenter or Timecards, we have included the Geo-Fence Icon status in the system.

First, it is important to understand that the icons will appear on Timecenter or Timecards in list view (As shown below).

Check the "Status" column, and you will find different icons. For the Geo-Fence, here's what they mean:

  1. Shaded Globe Icon

    If the Globe icon displays a shaded portion, it indicates that the time entry was created within the Geo-Fence. This implies that the recorded activity or event occurred within the specified geographical boundaries.

  2. Unshaded Globe Icon

    Conversely, if the Globe icon does not feature any shading, it means that the time entry was created outside of the Geo-Fence. In this case, the recorded activity or event took place beyond the designated Geo-fence area.
