Utilizing tags in drawings can greatly enhance organization, streamline filtering capabilities, and enable efficient reporting. This guide will walk you through the process of adding tags to drawings, allowing you to categorize and classify them for easier management.

How can I add tags to drawings?

Begin by selecting a project and clicking the "Drawings" module from the sidebar menu.

1. Accessing Drawing Editing Options

  • Begin by navigating to the folder containing the drawings you want to tag.

  • Select a single drawing within the folder that you wish to add tags to.

2. Editing Drawing

a. Single or multiple drawings:

  • To access the drawing editing options, locate the Actions menu associated with the selected drawing.

  • From the Actions menu, choose the "Edit Drawing" option to modify the selected drawing.

b. Editing the drawing by clicking the info button:

  • Alternatively, you can click into the drawing itself, and within the interface, locate the (i) "information" button.

  • Clicking the (i) button will allow you to access the drawing information and editing options.

3. Adding Tags

  • Within the drawing editing interface, locate the "Tags" field.

  • Type in any word or phrase that represents the desired tag for the drawing.

  • Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to create the tag.

  • The tag will be saved automatically when you save the changes made to the drawing.

Note: You may add multiple tags.
