To ensure effective control and access management within the Submittal Module, Project Specifications, and Divisions in SiteMax, admin role permissions are required. This guide will walk you through the process of editing permissions for your team members regarding these modules.
Note: Currently, submittals are view-only on mobile, regardless of what permissions you have.
Submittals Permissions Settings
To access Submittals permissions:
Go to "Teams" from the Company Dashboard
Find the user you wish to view or edit permissions
Click on their name
Click on the "Permissions" tab
View "Submittals" permissions in the list
💡What do these permissions allow you to access?
If you have view permission:
Allows you to view submittals
If you have view and create permission:
Allows you to view submittals
Allows you to add a new submittal and workflow
If you have view, create, and edit permission:
Allows you to view submittals
Allows you to add a new submittal and workflow
Allows you to create sections, packages and locations
If you have view, create, edit, and manage permission:
Allows you to view submittals
Allows you to add a new submittal and workflow
Allows you to create sections, packages and locations
Allows you to close and revise a submittal
Project Specifications & Divisions Permissions Settings
To access Project Specifications & Divisions permissions:
Go to "Teams" from the Company Dashboard
Find the user you wish to view or edit permissions
Click on their name
Click on the "Permissions" tab
View "Project Settings" permissions in the list
Note: The "Projects (assigned)" permission grants access to projects that are specifically assigned to a user. If you want to provide a user with access to all company projects, regardless of their assignment status, you can also select any permissions available under "Projects".

If you have view permission:
Allows you to view existing specifications & divisions only
If you have view and create permission:
Allows you to view existing specifications & divisions
Create divisions, upload new specs & add sections in specifications
If you have view and edit permission:
Allows you to view existing specifications & divisions
