Dashboard > Dispatch > Tools Tab

Let's discover how to add and manage tools within your appointments.

Adding Tools to Appointments

Note: You can't create a new appointment directly in the Tools tab. Instead, you can add tools to existing appointments.

  1. Empty Tile:

    • Check the corresponding date (column) and tool (row).

    • If the tile is empty, the tool isn't assigned to any appointments.

    • Click on the tile to open a modal displaying available appointments. Please select the checkbox next to the appointment you want to attach the tool to.

      • In this "Assign Appointments" modal, you can modify the date and filter appointments by job name or tags (user) for easier navigation.

  2. Populated Tile:

    • If you check the corresponding date (column) and tool (row) and see that the tile is populated, it means that the tool is already assigned to an appointment.

    • Click on the tile with the appointment to open the "Edit Appointment" modal.

    • Here, you can modify various appointment details such as Date, Start Time, End Time, Job/Area, and more.

    • To add or remove tools, use the "+" button in line with the "Tools Attached" section or click the "+" icon and select "Attach Tools."

Note:

  • If the tool is already added, modifications can be made within the "Edit Appointment" modal.

  • If there are no existing appointments on the selected date or if the applied filters don't match any appointments, the modal will display a "No Appointments" message.

Useful Tip for "Dispatch - Tools" Tab

Now that you've got a handle on adding tools, here's a tip for managing appointments:

  1. Filtering Options:

    • At the bottom of the page, explore filters such as "Filter by tool categories," "Filter by tool name," or "Filter by status" for quick information retrieval.
