A Geo-fence is a feature in SiteMax that allows monitoring user's locations and ensuring accurate time tracking. 

Geo-fences help flag alerts when users check in outside the designated geofence area.

Every project in SiteMax can have an associated Geo-fence, ranging from 100m to 50km.

Timecard permissions are relevant for sign-in within the Geo-fence boundaries.

If a user tries to sign-in to the project, they will be met with a Geo-fence reference to show where the user is starting their time in relation to the Geo-fence. <a href="https://help.sitemaxsystems.com/en/articles/5247704-timecard-permissions" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Timecard Permissions</a>.
